Confit is a traditional French cooking method in which duck legs are salted and cooked in fat, which is preserved in the days before refrigeration. The cured legs are cooked for a long time at a low temperature which results in extremely tender meat that falls easily off the bone.

Good quality of meat

I have never ordered anything from Gourmet de Paris before, Due to having a party in a week and Duck Confit was in my mind that I would like it to be served. I was a bit of worrying as not sure their quality of Duck Confit, whether they are suitable for crispy or whether their taste is good. It turned out the tests of the Duck Confit was beautiful, very moist and easy to crispy. What I particularly wanted to mention is that, when I asked to increase my order just before they dispatched, they helped me enormously and my ordered delivered on time without any problem. I will no hesitate to reorder again if needed.

Quality duck confit. As good as when I used to make our own. Unfortunately, old age etc prevents that now. These are excellent & easy to prepare.

A taste of the Dordogne!

Good sized leg joints. Enough fat for great roast potatoes. Succulent meat. Always a family favourite. I always order a batch when they are available.
